We need a big showing so FIRE UP!!!

Post by Golden_CU on Thu Oct 29, 2009 6:47 pm

I'm serious here in saying that we need a good crowd, and if we get another low crowd like last A-League game, it is nearly time to say goodbye to a Canberra A-League team in the future.

PLEASE ENCOURAGE ALL YOUR MATES, FAMILY, THE RANDOM MAN ON THE STREET, EVERYONE, to get their arse out to Canberra Stadium to show support for Canberra football.

FIRE UP!!!! cmon

Here Here. I have already encouraged many of my mates to go to the game. it is actually vital this game, and some of you don't even realise. This is the type of game that the FFA will look very closely at.Maybe even more that the CCM-Perth game.

I have spoken to quite a few people and we have 3 camps:

1. I'm going
2. I'm boycotting
3. I'll go if the weather is good

Fingers crossed we get a good turn-out!!

I'm actually quite surprised with the amount of people I have heard are boycotting. Hopefully they can change their mind, because this is quite big.

Instead of boycotting,

Why doesn't everyone make sure we get a bigger crowd at the W-League game where we will be supporting a Canberra team, than the foreign A-League game...

This would really send a clear message and i'm quite sure this is what I will be doing as i have plans for sat night.

If I was in Canberra I would be encouraging every man and his dog to attend this game. I hope you all are also.

me and Alex351 were playing soccer on the street and everytime someone whould walk past or ride past we would call out

"so you going to the a-league game saturday night?"
"oh yeah what time does it start again?"
"8pm i can't wait... it's going to be awesome"

we said that about 10 times to any randoms that walked past the street Cool

I saw in the Canberra Times today only 1500 tickets have been pre-sold. We definitely need a big walk up crowd!! Nice day so far hopefully the punters turn up!!

Oh well, Canberrans aren't known to be big pre-purchase buyers. We usually are walk-up starters.
