How on earth can Junna justify bringing in Slatyer at this late stage. She hasn't played in months - she won't be fit. She played really bad in semi and finals last year and always looked like she didn't really want to be there. We don't need her. God doesn't he realise it is the strikers who have let the team down this season. We don't need more defenders, they have done a good job in keeping the team up to fourth position. Totally unnecessary and unfair. Junna must be insane to think ...

Anyone see that article on SBS news? A French consortium headed by Chrisitan Karembeu is looking at gaining entry into the A-League by 2012. Apparently there is no shortage of offers for financial backing from France & also some French clubs said they would be happy to help by loaning young players to the club.

EXCLUSIVE: Canberra’s A-League bid head Ivan Slavich says Canberra will join the National Youth League possibly as early as next season as the capital city’s push for the A-League continues.

Slavich says the FFA have asked them to form a NYL side and he says his bid will front it but it would primarily be funded by the ACT government and local football's governing body, Capital Football.
