Following his dropping from the Asian Cup squad to face Oman, do your reckon he can work his way back into the team for the World Cup? I reckon yes, easily.

Also, was his dropping warranted? I again say YES. Some people say, he wasn't used right, but players cannot have their way at everything. He just had to get used to the system. He has had 15 games, maybe a bit less, with that system, and I don't think has played one good game. His job is to score goals and hasn't been doing it.

Watching the time Pim has been in charge, it is obvious that there will only be one up front for the World Cup, but the question is who?

IMO, Kennedy still hasn't convinced me whereas McDonald is no where up to the standard of starting striker at a World Cup. I think, like Mark Bosnich, that Harry Kewell is the answer.

There was a patch in the 1st round of qualifiers, around June 08, where he was the only one available, and he did play up front. I honestly think he should play there. ...

Bruce Djite is being lined up for a possible January exit from Genclerberligi as he seeks the game time which could propel him into Pim Verbeek’s World Cup plans.
