he's alright.... but i like Peter Crouch... known goal scorer in the EPL... played for Liverpool, Portsmouth and Hotspurs... he's only 28 and his England chances aren't very high at the momment (because of Rooney, Owen and Walcott) he would do well in the A-L

Peter Crouch? Why would he come. He is still an English international- and reasonably young.

Peter Crouch is 28 and is probably getting stuck behind Rooney and Owen but he isn't like Fowler where is a no-hope

Why'd he come? The most likely bid gonna be accepted is the lucas Neill bid. I could hardly see him wanting to play against his team.

Ok seriously consider this but how about Raul. His 32 Years old ATM and nearing the end of his career at Real Madrid.

Confused Hmmm

How long is his contract for though? Canberra would most likely pick up a free agent.

think about this, if we miss out this time, then the FFA take a year break of expansion and put us in alongside tasmania in 2012 the year Tim Cahill comes off contract. tim would not be very likely to gain another contract in europe and has expressed a desire to come home anyway, and with no south coast team to get in our way i'm sure tim wouldn't mind the challenge of playing for a brand new team.

he'd be a free agent at the age of 32, and would rake in the crowds.

it's possible

Nup.

I really don't think he'd come. Mate, he is thinking of going to the 2014 World Cup. he is backing the South Coast bid and IF he was to come back then he would only go to South Coast and the only team he'd probably play for if South Coast didn;t get in would be one of the Sydney's.

why not canberra? as i said i think he'd want to get involved with a brand new club because he really believes in the development of the game in this county so he would want to contribute as best he can, and what better way to do this than with a brand new club.

Cahill is a real people' person. Cahill will stay overseas for another 4-5 years IMO. By then South Coast may have a team.
