this would be mine:

-----------Williams-----------
kiting--slatyer--brush--davies
------------Gill--------
chapman-----cian.M------mowbray
----------munoz-------------
----------sykes-----------

i only chose sykes because she's the only forward we've got, we need to buy one.

what's yours?

I wold take Kiting out - she was directly responsible for several goals against us through stupid mistakes last season. Walters is much more reliable and will run down the line when needed. Kiting doesn't. Take Davis out, she is always injured and unfit. Unreliable coming from NT. Put Studman in, again she runs far more and is good down the left side. Take Mowbray out and put sykes on the wing and buy new forwards who can actually shoot when in front of the goal.

SO:

------Williams-----

Walters, Slatyer, Brush, Studman

Gill,
Chapman, cian, A Sykes

Munoz, ??

i reckon munoz is best suited to the CAM position because she struggles to get involved if she is being man-marked.

what about a quick striker in front of her, CAM also opens up the long-shot possibility for her.

well I believe that Munoz is a good striker. She has represented the Matildas so that is quite a good CV.

She should have a quick finisher next to her.

Hopefully we can find a new striker:

-----------Williams------------

--Walters---Brush---Kiting---Studman

-------------Gill------------------

--Cian.M-----Hogg---------????

----------De Vanna----???

Still, the midfield still have some players that might not be there. Matildasfan, is it confirmed that Crawford, McDonnell and Mowbray won't be playing for us this year?

I would swap Kiting and Walters. walters runs down the sideline. Kiting plays a very static game and doesn't run much. Not sure about the other midfielder.

Please Please lets get some good strikers!!!

Yea, I knew Walters was a defender- just didn't know where.

Any news on players like Slatyer, McDonnell, Mowbray, Crawford, Davies?

Pretty certain those interstate players are not coming from what has been said in the media. That is good, Slatyer was the only one who acutually performed and then she faded at the end of the season.

Would still prefer not to have Kiting, she is a lazy player. What she does do is ok, but does not have a very high work rate. Hope they can find a CB who is energetic and injects herself into the game.

I thought Slatyer fitted this role perfectly

Yes, slatyer was good last year but she is not coming back. I hope they find another CB to assist Brush, better than Kiting.

And also, on the Slatyer subject, I believe she only attended two training sessions last year. Cannot be good for the team. Is this true, teddybear?

That's a shame how come she isn't coming back? I think she is worth keeping if she moves to Canberra

I am pretty sure that she didn't attend any training - certainly not before the grand final. Not fair on the other players who make the effort to attend training in equally difficult circumstances.

I am not certain she isn't coming back - only going on what is in the media. But there is no way she would move to Canberra this year, if she couldn't be bothered to come to training at all last year.
