Shipard signs with Canberra United
Canberra United's W-League season officially kicks off on Saturday but the excitement levels are already overflowing at news Matilda midfielder Sally Shipard will be part of the 2010 campaign. Locker Room understands United bosses will announce the signing coup early this week. Shipard is one of the most talented female soccer players in the country and is a massive boost to United's Premiership quest.

Great news. Now for the final piece in the puzzle. What are the chances that Amy Chapman will sign once she is fit to play? I certainly hope that Ray has left a spot for her.

I think that chapman is out for the season.
