So does anyone think they'll join the army this year? If not, why not?

that's awesome, you'll pick up the chants really easily and since there's only a few of us, i'm sure you'll fit in well :welcome:

Could be there for a few games. Just don't know if the missus will approve.
If not, best of luck for the season, and hope numbers are strong this year.

Just wondering if anyone has a drum to bring to the games just to help along the chants. It would be a great atmoshpere if we could have chants, vuvuzelas and a drum going at the same time!

Nah no drum they cost like $400, unless we all chipped in but I don't think you'd see many too keen on that idea.
In the not too distant future I think we'll be looking on putting some advertising on this site and hopefully that money will help buy stuff like the drums, banners etc. so we aren't consistently forking out our dough

Thats actually a good idea! would be good to see the site self-sufficient financially. Should we start wearing magistrate wigs and maybe a green tie?

So there's 8 people that have said they'll come, but last year we had 18 people said they were coming, but if we actually get all 8 people to come, combined with a few other people outside the forum, we will have a solid army.

im just gonna say it... what a fail of a season on the army's part, i know i cant talk cause i only got to 3 games but every game i went it seemed like a no show on the army's behalf
btw i bought 4 flags (2 green, 2 neon green) and im gonna sew them together it should make a big flag!
UPDATE ON THE FLAGS:
I sewed the two flags together and will do the other two soon. but the now i've got one roughly 2mX2m flag
I also got a green Union Jack to play around with
