damn the canberra times!

far out they gave me a mini heart attack this morning when i read the headline, "ACT gets it's a-league team". only to read the article and find out it was something about how many canberrans are playing in the a-league at the moment.

I'm sure the Canberra Times wouldn't be first to announce it- probably The World Game or 442.

Did anyone see in the sport pages today that big headline "ACT has it's A-League Team". what a load of s**t! we'll have our team when they give us the rights. i know they are just highlighting how many promising players come out of our system, but is this the Fairfax Media (or is it News Ltd.???) preparing us for the worst. to me it smacks of loser talk!!!

Canberra Times is owned by Fairfax I believe.

any comments on the content??? any other conspiracy theorists out there?????

No, it will probably be fox sports as they have broadcast rights to the FFA
