Is that a 2nd Melbourne team has been accepted, right? So wouldn't it make sense for a second Sydney team to be accepted as well?

TBH i don't think it means anything. They probably just thought Melbourne needed a second team at the time.

Thinking about it... it would make most sense if they had Western Sydney if they were brining in a Melbourne, from an FFA point of view.

because of the success they have had with Melbourne Victory... they expect the same will happen with Melbourne Heart... I think if anything it could half Victory crowds and screw it all up

Why does bringing in a second Melbourne team justify another Sydney team at the same time?
They are completely different cities with different demographic support.
It shouldn't make sense from an FFA point of view "Proud2BeCanberran", because they should be leaning away from the multiple teams per city ideal which was a factor of the NSL's failure.
ATM they should try to keep it to one team per city, with the exception of Melbourne Heart as Melbourne has different demographic situation to Sydney, I believe they can sustain a team.

Sydney's second team can be sustained if anything Melbourne's second team raises more eyebrows
