United aim for Glory start

Canberra United kick off season 3 of the Westfield W-League with a long-distance trip to Perth to face the Glory before welcoming Brisbane to McKellar on 13th November. The first home match of the campaign kicks off at 5pm. Ticket details will be available shortly.

3 home games each at deakin and mckellar also two games against brisbane roar again.

What's wrong with Deakin? At least we don't play at Ballymore.

Incorrect. The W-League gets higher ratings than the mens game.

Hey,
Just a quick note:
There's four games at McKellar and two at Deakin. Deakin is being utilised as McKellar is off-line for pitch re-development for December through early January. We're back at our 'spiritual' home for the final league match on 29th January.

There are only 3 regular games at McKellar and two at Deakin. Maybe another at McKellar if we get a home semi or final.

Yeah, am not a fan of Deakin Stadium TBH. A bit too cramped even for the W-League. Parking there is disastrous.

yeah i remember the parking there was awful, we had to walk a good couple of km's through suburban streets and what not, and there's no shade there either.

They should move the game back to 7pm. I reckon it'd be great for night football there.

Night game in summer would be epic, I find the atmosphere in any sport to be better at night
