Ticket prices.
Sat Oct 30, 2010 2:04 pm
Now, I know this is an odd topic to bring up, but I was reading some stuff about the WPS in America, and they were saying that ticket prices over there are between $15 and $20 for their matches.
It got me thinking, would you still be happy to go watch CU matches if tickets were, say, $5 for kids and $10 for adults?
The FFA don't seem to think gate takings are a good revenue stream for this league, but maybe it's because they're not actually TRYING.

yes I would. Because every dollar that is spent goes to making the club better and stronger.

I don't know if they get that privilege this year. I wonder if we still have to take "our founding membership" papers to the games or if they have our names on a list. Either way I think more people would turn up at 2 dollars a game rather than 10.

I don't think we actually see any of those gates. Isn't it like the A-League, where gates and merch are evenly split between teams? (This is why the HAL teams wear their away kits every second week)
Toby, maybe $10 for adults but kids get in free?

John, my boy, you should damned well work for the FFA. Make it under 15s in free, otherwise, a perfect balance. :)JohnLovesCanberraUnited wrote:i'd say under 12s in free, everyone else $8
