24th of August: D-day

Well according to a Canberra Times article I read recently it will be so we have just 13 days until we know our fate.
What's the general feeling around the traps?
For me, I think we're in. I just couldn't see us missing out after all we've done.

I am really stumped over what will happen.
The only scenario that I CANNOT see happening is Canberra getting in and Western Sydney missing out.
Hopefully it either goes to 13 teams or Wellington get booted out and both WS and Canberra get in.

I think we're in. They'll go to 13 to allow themselves the luxury of still having a 12 team comp in Wellington are ruled ineligible for the league at any stage in the future.

Lets put some perspective on this - Joe Meissner- rich Jewish business man and heading the most likely succesfull West Sydney bid. Frank Lowey - rich Jewish busine.......... surely not! Surely the FFA wouldn't be influenced by Frank Lowey would they? Of course they bloody would!

Pittodrie Boy, it is believed that the Lucas Neill bid is the favourite to secure the 12th spot- and also there is a strong chance that it could go to 13 teams or 12 with Wellington being booted out and Western Sydney and Canberra being in.

Canberra A-League Bid. D-Day looms
Monday 24th of August.
The most important day in Canberra football history for sometime.
Will the FFA grant Canberra a licence at the highest football table in the country and indeed across Asia.
I think Canberra and West Sydney will both be given a provisional licence with the need to convince the FFA of their finances and other items by November.
But then I think Celtic are the greatest side in the World.

aleague4canberra, Western Sydney ARE going to get an A-League team. Their bid is now all good. It is just a matter whether Canberra also get accepted.
