Membership Aim
Mon Sep 21, 2009 8:24 pm
Not talking about foundation Membership, am talking about Season memberships for the first season Canberra competes in.
What do we reckon would be a respectable number yet realistic for our first season of memberships.
Advertising for memberships will be VITAL and will have to be at a respectable price unlike Brisbane. We have to have as good as membership drive as the raiders did for this season.
They had TV ads, Posters around the ACT, real strong slogans.
First season we should get a decent number because I am sure people who aren't foundation members, many will get get a season pass.
Maybe 4,000?

I'll be getting one for sure! Yep - around 4000 I would think. I also think we should investigate what the other supporters groups are up to and copy the best aspects of each. Continued community support and engagement is key to Canberra's chances of remaining successful in the league.

4K for sure. But there is no way we will get that or any higher unless we engage with the community.

Let me change my aim.... 3.5K. The Raiders were usually always getting 3.5K before last year, so I can't see us getting higher than that.

The Brumbies are aiming for 10,000 in 2010
and the Raiders are aiming for 6,000 in 2010
so we should probably be looking for around 5,000
