2009-10 Fans' Choice Player of The Year

The Fans'Choice Player of Year, is an award that is decided by fans for the best performed player in season 2009-10. It is all in your hands.



In the Fans' Choice Player of the Year, you can register your votes here for the top performed Canberra United player, on a 3-2-1 basis. The rules are you can only allocate 6 points or less each round, and can split them any way you like, but no "half" points are permitted and no player can be awarded more than 3 points.

So, you can give the best player 3 points, the second best 2 and the third best 1, in the traditional way. Or you can give two players 3 points each. Or you can give 3 players 2 points each etc.... No half points are permitted.

The day before the next game, all the points awarded by everyone to each player each round will be aggregated and then the top three players will be awarded 3, 2, 1 points.

These votes can only be made AFTER the completion of the game.

The progressive tally will be kept in a seperate thread, and the winner at the end of the season will be announced and hopefully Canberra United staff will allow this award to be an official award.

Round 3 and Round 8 are going to be the only rounds that the moderators decide on, as these two games are not played in Canberra and are not televised on ABC television.

Pretty shocking performance, so hard to give points but:

VERY disappointing.

Pretty pathetic effort TBH. The fitness of the players seem to be VERY low and up front they couldn't capitalise on those half chances. Oh well, it is the 1st week and against the best team so:

That was the most frustrating performance to watch, but it is a VERY young team and with the amount of changes we've had, I didnt expect the greatest performance. The performances of the two taiwanese players was the highlight of the game and the four players I allocated points for are the only players who played decent.

Brush??? I thought she was one of the worst performed. She was solely to blame for the 3rd goal for pathetic marking up.

i disagree, as i said in another thread, the defenders played well but the defensive structure was wrong.

Brush was really bad... I thought out of the defenders Lin was the only good one.

0 for all of them. They were hopeless.

We know they were crap, but still, as you can see there were some positives and the performance of Tseng was good as was Lin, Cian M and Raymond. We'd appreciate some giving of some points.

My letter to Canberra United staff re: Fans Choice Player of the Year.

Hello,

My name is XXXXX and I am the co-creator of the Capital Punishment Canberra Foortball forum and am cousins with XXXXX, who I know has been in contact with you re Memberships and flyers.

The reason I have sent out this email, because the members of the Capital Punishment forum came up with an idea that the moderators team jumped at. And that is having a 2009-10 Fans' Choice Player of The Year. All details have been confirmed and the procedure to come up with the Fans' Player of the Year have been decided by the team.
