A-League Bidding Criteria
Wed Sep 09, 2009 6:06 pm
*Must have the 6 million start-up Capital
*Must have proven Community Support
*Must have the backing of sponsors, including international sponsors
*Must have a suitable football stadium
*Must have suitable training facilities
*Must be from Western Sydney
Can't believe everyone has ignored the last requirement.
It is blatant obvious that is going to be Western Sydney or no one- even if Canberra has every requirement.
Western Sydney will be given the licence even if they don't find the money.

^^^^^
Wouldn't say that is funny....actually yes I would.
The FFA will do whatever they can do to get a team in the A-League. They just should've told Tasmania, South Coast and Canberra that you aren't going to get a licence.

^^
jesus calm down, let me just ask you, if you were in the FFA's position would you give the license to a bid without the required start-up finances given the follies of the NSL?

I don't think he is saying that.
The FFA have not been going about their business in the right way.
Publicly announcing that we will do all we can to give Western Sydney a licence is not good. Then them coming out and scheduling a CCM-Perth game at at terrible time and basing our bid around it.
Tell me, why do Western Sydney deserve more help from the FFA then a proven Canberra bid?
It is mainly just a build of events for the FFA.

You know, i would like to see NQF play Perth in Western Sydney. I reckon the FFA would be surprised.

^^ it is sooo true,
Why hasn't there been any "test" of WS's support for football?
The FFA are out of touch here and there needs to be change!
Off with their heads!

So we now see Newcastle getting just smack bang on 6K- on a beautiful saturday night. You just can't use this as an excuse.
