Working with football in Canberra
Sat Aug 28, 2010 10:02 pm
Hi,
RunningBall Sports Information GmbH is a company based in Austria who is in the business of selling live statistics to bookmakers and news agencies around the world. Our scouts attend live football games and send statistics in real-time using a touch screen PDA. The potential earnings for a covered game is up to 66 EUR and we also cover the ticket price. The company also supplies a PDA installed with a SIM card, so there are no expenses from the scouts' side.
We're currently looking for people to cover the home games of:
• Canberra United
Applicants from other cities are also encouraged to apply. We cover a lot of leagues in Australia and at present, are covering games from the following leagues:
• NSW - North State League
• Brisbane Premier League
• NSW Premier League
• South Australia Super League
• Victorian Premier League
• Western Premier League
• Queensland State league
• Friendly matches (such as Sydney Football Festival)
As the State League season is almost over, we are looking towards next season and expanding our scouting coverage that we had this year. To achieve this we need more people to be able to cover as many games as possible. If you have an interest in football and would like to make money covering live games, feel free to apply.
How to apply?
All applicants who are interested in the job should apply through http://academy.rball.com/ and your application will be processed.
When your application has been accepted you will become a candidate and be asked to do a small series of exams which consist of English and general football knowledge. After completion of these exams there will be an interview and if successful we will you will take you through a short training course on how the scouting software works. This training will be done over internet.
If you have any questions please feel free to post either here or email aus@ball.com
Best regards,
Mikael Westerling
