Capital Punishment Supporters Group Award 2010/11

Hi all,

Recently we received a post from someone within the Canberra United club, giving us the go ahead to make the Capital Punishment Supporters group Award an official award to be presented to the recipient at the conclusion of the season.

Firstly, we must find an ideal trophy that can be purchased within Canberra. It would be even more ideal if it were a cup, like shown below:



However, I am yet to find a website that has given me full information on prices, where to pick up, height, quality, etc. So if anyone comes across a website fitting the above, it would be greatly appreciated if you posted it here.

We plan to get an engraving with the award winner's name, as well as the year, and most importantly the logo. We will also have one or two representative/s within the supporters group to present it at the end of season dinner.

Help would be appreciated.

I'm still saying the Parliament House flagpole on a wooden base, with the award name and our logo on the front and the winners names engraved around the sides with the year. That way we only have to buy ONE trophy ;)

I wasn't planning on buying a different each year anyway.

Anyway, it is a great idea, however I just don't think we will be able to do it. I doubt Capital Trophies will do it, as they only have a certain number of styles.


BTW, what size do you reckon would be suitable?

Say 30cm tall by 20cm across?

That's the problem. I am yet to come across a website with a reasonable price suiting the size of a trophy.

Most are 16cm trophies.

I'll go to a shop down here and ask them for a price. Might take a few days though, the uni work is snowing me under.

there are tons of trophy making places in canberra like capital trophies and trophylink etc! probs be best to drop by one of them
