Canberra United Supporters Award & New Signings

Hey all,

Contrary to popular belief we at Canberra United do monitor fan discussion and are more than happy for you to have your own 'Capital Punishment Supporters Award' for the forthcoming season.

All that you need to do is donate a trophy, vote on it in your usual manner, and at the end of the season we can invite a representative from your supporters group to come and present the award at our official end of season function.

Whoever wishes to organise this award should contact the Canberra United Media Manager, Russ Gibbs, at media@capitalfootball.com.au

In terms of new signings we cannot officially announce any new signings until 1st October. However, rest assured we have almost finalised our squad and will be officially announcing at least three new signings around the 1st October date. An official Canberra United Season Launch is also in the pipeline for October, details of which will be announced nearer the time.

all of that sounds great, we'd have to pool together some money to fund the trophy so that'll be a bit tricky but not impossible, we'll see what we can do

and the signings and stuff should be interesting

Yep since the beginning of the year. Wasn't active on this forum for a while after Canberra missed out to Rovers sorry about that.

john: i'd be interested to find out a) how much a trophy would cost and
b) how many people would contribute to buying it

Toby: i assume you'll be at the w-league, and i hope you stand with the army
