Crowd for game on friday

what are your predictions, what will you be satisfied with.

for me i'm happy with 7K.

yeah hoping for more I would say the 10k mark since alot of CCM fans will be there

but what worries me is no one knows about the game, it even sprung up on me! which isn't a good sign.

no, what i'm saying is that until i heard fox sports news say something about central coast playing perth in canberra on friday i thought it was still a while away.

my point being that you'd have to say i'm a pretty hardcore supporter so where does that leave the part time football fan in canberra?

I knew this game was on since the date was announced, and plenty of people at my work have already bought tickets- which was a while back. Plus I've got numerous friends that are going. Pity I'm not.

there was only 300 tickets sold on the weekend remember?

raiders got 9,400 for their last game, i'm thinking maybe 6-8k

So far I believe 1,200 tickets have been sold.

yeah though most people buy their tickets at the door so I wouldn't be too worried

Hopefully there's no rain, it's a great opportunity for the people of Canberra to show their support for the game and prove that a team is needed in the ACT.

the advertising has picked up by a fair bit recently.

heard a radio ad a couple of times, the canberra times also has been advertising it well so anythings possible

I just bought 2 gold tix at lunch and the Pax (tickets sold) is up to 3134. I predict around 6-7000. As per usual people will turn up just before kick off and get annoyed that they have missed the start of the game cause the lines are too long.

Why don't people pre purchase tickets???

LOTS of people will get the tickets at the game. Looking at the number of tickets sold ATM, we should be looking at 8K.

i'm gonna go out on a limb and say that this match is the deciding factor of our bid, 10K+ gets us a team, 8-10K the game doesn't change, -8K we'll find it hard to get that license

I reckon it depends a lot on how much publicity the canberra times give it tomorrow..
here's hoping for a 4 page lift out like the raiders, brumbies and the occasional afl game gets.
