I have the figure of 5193 attended the game.. Its quite low really but still we just managed to scrap past the 5000 mark

Got two crowds over 5,100 in their history and one of them had a Socceroos game before it!!

So last night showed with bugger all marketing, bugger all interest in teams from out of Canberra we can get 5,000.

So I don't think it's too hard to make the jump to a 15,000 plus first game crowd, given at least six months of build up, a marketing strategy to sell the thing...a new club has to have one right:) and then with a few neat ticket season ticket selling stratgeies home crowds very close to 10,000 with potential to grow should:

Club succeed
Club sell itself and connect in the right way long-term

Also Gold Coast 7,500 for it's first game, we showed last night we'd smash that for a Canberra team and that means we have something to build on.

If there was descent advertising and if canberra had it's own team we could easily break 14k.
We need to get advertising right for the next game on the 31st of October.

hear hear, the potential for a really succesful team here is huge. Especially given the fact that Canberra relly isn't a stronghold for any of the codes, so football could be that code if we get a team and it does well.

we'd have doubled it for a Canberra team and tripled it for a Canberra vs Sydney or Melbourne
